The European Migration and Asylum Policy is not only a complex but also a very significant policy field for the European Union. Several different actors try to develop a common policy for managing migration into the Member States of the Union. By attending this course, you will get an overview of the most important actors in European policy making and how they work together. Furthermore, the course will show you the basics of the European Migration and Asylum policy and what the Union has established so far. Finally, the migration policy is subject of very intense discussion in public as some citizens feel uncomfortable because of the number of migrants that have entered the EU since 2015. The course will let you have a closer look on the impact of this discussion on the European Union as a whole.
E-learning does not mean only to read through texts: You will constantly apply your newly gained knowledge on the migration policy by engaging with interactive elements and you can test your knowledge at several different stages during the course. Enjoy learning about European politics!
