The European Migration and Asylum Policy is not only a complex but also a very significant policy field for the European Union. Several different actors try to develop a common policy for managing migration into the member states of the European Union. By attending this course, you will get an overview of the history of European integration, the most important actors in EU policy-making and how they work together. Furthermore, the course will show you the basics of the European Migration and Asylum Policy and give you an insight into developments and debates within this policy field in the last few years. Finally, the course will let you have a closer look at the future of the European Union as a whole.
