Activating/deactivating the youtubeconsent cookie

The course descriptions on the OPEN vhb platform usually comprise embedded YouTube videos. By checking/unchecking the box below, you can determine whether these YouTube videos should be loaded automatically if you call up a course description and are not logged in to the OPEN vhb platform at the same time (i.e., when you are logged out).

If the box is checked, YouTube videos embedded in OPEN vhb course descriptions will be automatically loaded hereafter if you call up a course description and are not logged in to the OPEN vhb platform at the same time (i.e., when you are logged out). Thereby, a direct connection between your browser and the Google servers is automatically established.

If the box is not checked, YouTube videos embedded in OPEN vhb course descriptions will NOT be loaded automatically in the future if you call up a course description and are not logged in to the OPEN vhb platform at the same time (i.e., when you are logged out). Instead of the YouTube video, a user dialog appears with a note on data collection by Google. Only when you click "Play video" within this user dialog, the YouTube video will be loaded and a direct connection between your browser and the Google servers will be established.
